Reiki Masterclass: Symbolism & Interpretation

With collaboration between Reiki Masters Yvette Karan and Ruth Karan, this course will take you on a deep dive into symbolism and how it can be used to help you interpret impressions from the Reiki energy.

There is symbolic meaning entrenched in almost every aspect of our daily lives, from the birds that visit our gardens, the daily change in weather, to the buildings that populate our spaces, or the tools we use to create, there is a symbol for almost anything. Whether these symbols have been formed through history, culture, folklore, or tradition, the rich complex meanings that have been attributed to these different concepts littered throughout our lives can sometimes allude us. As you go through life, your own history or folklore may inform you of so much – a bird’s feather may, for example, symbolise a lost loved one, or the sun the life that grows across our earth – but there is also much more to learn.

This Masterclass will not only help you to examine the common symbols that arise in Reiki, but also help you to strengthen your own abilities in identifying and interpreting the sensations or impressions you may receive through Reiki. Whilst there is not one singular understanding of symbols taught through the Reiki tradition, there is much to learn from the historical understanding of symbols, giving respect to different cultures, the use of symbolism in art, or even our own individual experiences that have created symbolic meaning for us.

This Masterclass is designed to give you an introduction to symbols and how they work in Reiki, helping you to develop the tools to interpret what you sense with confidence and an open mind. You will also be given the opportunity to begin your very own Reiki journal or book of symbols that will guide you in your future practice.

This is an online course taking place over multiple sessions. You will receive further instructions on how to join the course upon payment. You will be able to keep the recordings of these online sessions, so that you can rewatch whenever you need or in case you miss out on the dates listed. Attendance is encouraged.
